CGVA LEVEL UP is hosting a Special Guest Workshop with Andrew Brown, Head Coach of NYU's Women's Volleyball.

Andrew Brown will be leading TWO WORKSHOPS (Setting/Libero & Hitting) on Saturday, December 10th with a limited number of spot to help you better LEVEL UP your volley skills.

There will be equal spots available for C/B and A/Advanced players for each workshop. You will be limited to pick from ONE of the two workshops to allow for more of the community to participate.

SETTING & LIBERO WORKSHOP

11-1:30pm

This workshop will focus on the mindset/mental approach to both the setting and libero positions.

Coach Brown will cover topics including a strong volleyball specific warm-up, skills players can take home and do on their own, positive technical feedback and a supportive environment to advance everyone's love and skill for the game.

HITTING WORKSHOP

1:45-4:15pm

This workshop will focus on the mindset/mental approach to attacking from both serve receive and defensive transition. Coach Brown will cover topics including a strong volleyball specific warm-up, skills players can take home and do on their own, positive technical feedback and a supportive environment to advance everyone's love and skill for the game.

**ABOUT ANDREW BROWN**

Andrew Brown is the Head Coach for Women's Volleyball at NYU in New York City. In four very short years, Coach Brown has helped build NYU to a power house in DIII NCAA volleyball. Currently NYU is ranked #6 in the country. Last season's team saw the NYU Violets win the 2021 UAA Conference and finish with a 28-2 record as #11 in the country. Coach Brown earned both UAA Conference Coach of the year and ECAC DIII Coach of the year in 2021. With 10 years of head coaching experience, he emphasizes a growth mindset approach and taking risks via learning mode practice building.
