Volleypalooza Format

4-person, outdoor grass tournament, 24-32 teams

  • Saturday, June 17, 2017
  • 8AM to approximately 5PM
  • Denver's Congress Park
  • All skill levels welcome!


  • $140 Early Registration ends Saturday June 10th 11:59PM
  • $180 Late Registration closes Wednesday June 14th 11:59PM
  • Team Rosters locked Wednesday June 15th 11:59.  Once team rosters are locked, captains cannot change their team rosters. This is so that we can accurately place each team.
  • Only team captains may register teams and manage rosters.



  • Advanced - NAGVA A - Limit 1 AA player per team
  • Competitive - NAGVA BB - No AA/A players allowed
  • Intermediate - NAGVA B - No AA/A/BB players allowed
  • Recreational - No AA/A/BB players allowed

General Information

Only team captains may register teams and manage rosters.

  • Registration fee covers the first 5 players on a team, t-shirts, water, and Coors Light. Each additional player costs $35
  • No rain out date and no refunds once the tournament begins.
  • Self-reffed games
  • Teams must supply their own volleyballs. CGVA will provide an air pump for use if needed.

Like last year, only team captains will register teams.

Individuals will NOT register separately for Volleypalooza.  

Each Captain will pay for his or her team slot first. Then, the captain will manage the team's roster during the registration period. This means:

  1. The captain needs each player's:

    • First and Last name

    • NAGVA rating (if applicable)

    • Email address or Phone Number

  2. It's OK i​​​​​​f the captain does not know player information at the time of registration. He or she can edit the roster later by following these instructions or emailing Jason at

  3. The captain will pay for the team up front. The registration fee will cover the first 5 players, and may be paid during the registration process or offline. Each additional player will cost an additional $35 due on the day of the tournament.
